Beibee’s Ben…poetry. prose. diaries.

To blog these days, is to do one of the most e-fashionable things on planet earth. Everyone wants to blog because it’s the in-thing. Then, we end up having one blog too many. Mine might be the latest addition. After that full-stop you can be sure someone else has signed up for a blog! The blogging continues. None the less, we all blog for various reasons. I, for one blog for some reasons.

Not to be absolutely rude: I welcome you to my world, by saying “Hello!”.

I sure hope this blog for me will be a lasting experience between you and I. I sure hope this blog will bring you and I some measure of moments that come with bliss, ecstasy, fun, friendship, imagination and satisfaction. I do hope this blog will open a window of fresh breath, fresh thinking, fresh feeling and fresh imaginations…

To say “Hello!” is more than a greeting for me; it is an earnest attempt to reach out in my own little world of writing…and writing; you may find nothing very important in my world- but be sure, I’ve made an attempt to give it all, to have it all. I’ve never wanted to be the best; I’ve always only sought the best I can be…I take delight in writing.

Poems. Afterwards, we shall be speaking in poetry. The poetic licence is already obtained; and the ability to “speak in tongues” of poems is there. You may not like reading poems so much; I guess you won’t mind feeling them. I shall prefer my poems to be felt in the heart to being read with precision.

Stories. I lay no claim to being a story-writer nor a story-teller. However, I love to weave imaginations into words. I long to write like Chinua Achebe; I envy the language wizardry of Wole Soyinka; I marvel at John Grisham’s bestsellers; I imagine myself doing the writings of Robert Ludlum; I wonder if I can pen Helon Habila’s Waiting for an Angel’s similitude. See all the whys I shan’t lay claim to being a story-teller or a story-writer….

One certainty: I want to write. I shall write.
